Looking at DSK free VST collection is pretty impressive, they offer tons of synths, drumboxes and instruments emulations. Today I'll make a focus on the three one that are "world music" oriented : World Stringz, Indian Dreamz and Asian Dreamz.

- World stringz covers 8 instruments from around the world (Celtic harp, Cumbus, Dobro, Kanun, Koto, Dulcimer, Tar, Turkish oud) with a HP/LP filter and an amp enveloppe.
- Indian dreamz allows you to play Sitar, Sarod, veena, Tar, tampura & Tabla with the same controls than above.
-Asian dreamz completes the picture with Pipa, Pipa tremolo, Luan, Guzhen, Erhu & Ban di + 1 percussion kit

They are all basicly sample players with some basic controls, son don't expect first class acoustic realistic, but it's a good (and free) alternative to commercial soundbanks. Well used and mixed it can easily fit in your tracks.

La collection de VST gratuits de chez DSK free VST est plutôt impressionante : on y trouve plusieurs synthés, boites à rythmes, et autres émulations acoustiques. Pour cette fois je me concentrerai sur les instruments orientés "World music" : World Stringz, Indian Dreamz and Asian Dreamz.

- World stringz couvre 8 instruments à corde de par le monde (Celtic harp, Cumbus, Dobro, Kanun, Koto, Dulcimer, Tar, Turkish oud) avec un filtre passe haut/bas et une envelope d'amplitude.
- Indian dreamz vous permettra de jouer Sitar, Sarod, veena, Tar, tampura & Tabla avec les mêmes contrôles.
-Asian dreamz complète le tableau avec Pipa, Pipa tremolo, Luan, Guzhen, Erhu & Ban di + 1 percussion kit

Ces VST sont tous basiquement des lecteurs d'échantillons avec des controles basiques, ne vous attendez donc pas à un réalisme époustouflant, mais ils sont une bonne (et gratuite) alternative aux grosses banques de sons du commerce. Bien utilisés et mixés, ils s'insèreront facilement dans cos compositions.
